Heir of the Dragon, the third book of the Dragon and Storm series, releases a week from today on the 25th! Here's all the details.
As a continuation of Daughter of Lightning and Son of Winter, this book follows the same story and is the same genre. No surprises there. :) One thing that will be different is the intended audience age. It's common for YA series to become more mature in the later books as the characters get older.
While the first two books of Dragon and Storm were directed at 12+ readers, this book and the next are intended for 15+. I think it would still be appropriate for mature 13/14-year-olds, but it's written for an older audience. The characters are older now, and therefore the themes are too. You can expect violence and themes related to war, and a few very mild curse words. No sexual content, and still much less language than is in your average PG-13 movie.
